The inception of Nerd Alert came about during Andrew Olson's inaugural visit to Anime Expo in 2016. Immersed in the vibrant community of nerds and geeks, he experienced a sense of belonging unlike any other large gathering. It was this profound connection that sparked the idea for a dating app catering specifically to the unique interests of this community.
